Historic distillery in Kochcice from 1903

Near Lubliniec in the Śląskie Voivodeship are Kochcice, a small village in which we can see two beautiful monuments, which are the heritage of the von Ballestrem family. The first of them is a historic distillery from 1903, which thanks to revitalization regained its former splendor.

The distillery was part of the farm built by Ludwik von Ballestrem, and thanks to the renovation, which was carried out in 2020-2024, the facility was adapted to new functions.

The former distillery has not only historical but also architectural values, and the object is entered in the register of monuments. The distillery after renovation is to act as a multimedia museum, in which you can, among others see an exhibition dedicated to the Ballestrem family, organizations of the former farm or technological processes in the distillery.
